Hi and welcome to another great site featuring primitive dolls, raggedy anns, raggedy andys, belindy's, primitive stitcheries and so much more by Blackbeary Forest.

On my left sitting around looking all cute is a Raggedy Ann doll by the name of "Skittles". She is wearing a cute little Raggedy Ann pin. "Skittles" has a crooked smile on her face. I think she's been a little mischievous if you ask me. You can visit her and others like her on the Raggedies page.
I have enjoyed making dolls for quite some time now. My favorites to make are Primitive Raggedy Anns, Raggedy Andys, Belindy and Primitive Black Dolls. There will also be Primitive Stitcheries and other needful things on the site as well so you might want to bookmark this site so you can check back now and then to see if anything new has been added.

One thing I have learned
about Primitive Dolls. Primitive is definitely in the
eye of the beholder. What is primitive to one person may
not be to another. And some people love it and some just
don't. The other day my friend and I were out antique
shopping. I saw a very primitive black doll in one of
the booths. I reallllllly loved this doll. I showed my
friend and she didn't hesitate to tell me how much she
DIDN'T love it. *L* She just kept shaking her head when
I would say "Isn't she great?". I didn't buy
her. I should have. I may just go back and see if she
is still there.
